I spent several hours calling local orchards and I was amazed to find out there are not very many places in Lancaster County where you can actually go apple picking! But there are several that are within an hours drive—and honestly, you might want to pick one and make a day of it. Many of the places have weekend festivals, special hay rides, mazes and other events!
Pick your own apples is already closed for the season. You can pick your own pumpkins for $.25/lb. Hayrides are $4/person. You must take a hayride to pick the pumpkins.
Open Mon-Sat from 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-4pm.
