3. Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe

To celebrate the arrival of spring after a long winter, Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe is giving away a FREE scoop of artisan ice cream. Their Premium ice cream is made on the premises in small batches. It begins with the dairy base from a local Pennsylvania dairy. Located at 2715 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-In-Hand, PA. Read more here.

5. Pop’s Annual Spring Celebration

This isn’t in Lancaster County, but just outside the area in Kutztown. They will offer FREE ICE CREAM to the 1st 100 customers (1 scoop of any hand-dipped flavor or small soft serve). Their vanilla soft serve will be “Pop’s Pink” all day too! Learn more here.

UPDATE > Well, the first day of spring for 2017 is over, but after it ended I learned of two more locations that offered freebies—Oregon Dairy offered a half dip cone and Lickity Split in New Holland, also offered a two-scoop cone! I’ll be on the lookout next year to include those on the list too!!!
