Household Items
- You’ll often hear the term stockpiling if you read a lot of coupon blogs. This is when someone uses a combinations of coupons and sales to buy a lot of certain items for cheap. They then keep that to use throughout the next year, or donate it to food pantries, boy scouts, etc. While this is not for everyone, there is something to be said in the wisdom of buying in bulk at a great price—especially when you know you will need to purchase it at some point. I chose to mention this topic under household items, because you can often find great deals like this for paper towels, shampoo, body wash, deoderant, dish soap, and laundry detergent.
- Watch for brand specials from P&G and Kimberly Clark, and save your coupons to use with them. For instance, many stores often offer a $10 gift card if you buy $25 worth of P&G products. To help you know what coupons to use with these deals and when they are happening, regularly check couponing blogs like this one. Other favorites of mine are: For The Mammas, Money Saving Mom, and Saving with Amy.
