On February 9, 2013 from 1 – 4p.m., Landmark Homes will hold a Chocolate for Charity event, where families will be welcome to stop in and enjoy delicious chocolate samples, watch live cooking and decorating demonstrations, and enter to win various giveaways and raffle items donated by local area vendors. The event will be held at the new community center in Landmark’s Home Towne Square community in Ephrata, where the designer decorated model home will also be open for touring.
The event will kick off at 1 p.m. with a live floral decorating demonstration by Bourne to Design, featuring Kate Bourne. At 2 p.m., Landmark is honored to welcome Kathy Blankenbiller, Wilbur Chocolate’s own Chocolate Artist. Kathy, who has had the privilege of meeting and discussing chocolate with President Obama, has been creating extraordinary chocolate art for 20 years.
Live demonstrations from Sugar Whipped bakery, Tastefully Simple Consultant Liz Willman, and Pampered Chef consultant Amanda Hyatt will take place throughout the day as well. Landmark Homes is pleased to offerraffle items from the Lincoln House, Sweet Encounters, Rebecca’s Heavenly Goodies, Martin’s Country Markets, Javateas, Wolfgang Candy, and Embellishing You Jewelry.
Admission is FREE to the event, but we are kindly requesting monetary donations or donations of non-perishable food items for the Ephrata Area Social Services local food bank. Landmark is proud to support EASS with their mission of “Neighbors helping Neighbors”, which provides more than 200 local families with much-needed food supplies once a month.
