There are so many fun outings to do with your kids over the summer in the Lancaster County area – like the Herr’s Potato Chip Factory, Hands On House, Lake Tobias, Hershey Gardens and Hershey Chocolate Factory. It can be overwhelming! And it can be costly.
Here are a few great deal sites that you will want to keep watching for money-saving trips!

1. Amazon Local. Most of these deals are for the Philadelphia area, so watch them for day trip opportunities like the Zoo or the Children’s Museum.
2. Groupon. At the time this post is being written, they are currently running deals on SkyZone in Harrisburg, Hershey Gardens (2 tickets for $12), and some photography places. I’ve also seen Lake Tobias and Crayola Factory deals offered on here.
3. Living Social. They are currently offering a deal for Spring Mountain Adventures zip line tour! Share these deals with your friends, and they’ll get $10 off their first deal of $20 or more!
4. Local Flavor (previously DoubleTake Deals). Not only do they offer deals for restaurants and eating out, but you can find savings on spas, recreation, sports, mini golf, ink cartridges, entertainment and more! But you will also find deals for places like the LaserDome and Slick Willy’s!

5. PA 50/50 Deals. They just offered a half off deal of a $50 gift card to Esbenshades, which is awesome if you were planning on making a large purchase there. You can buy up to 2 deals and use both at the same time! They also regularly offer deals to The Works in Wyomissing. Please note that they sell out quickly (within an hour sometimes) and your best bet is to check it regularly, and sign up for emails so you are notified of new deals immediately!
