Do you need a day away? Or even just a few hours? How about a morning all about desiring to help you to be freed up to walk in the purpose that God has for you? A place to come and figure out what’s going on in your life. Are there lies you are believing, struggles that you are having?
Come join the Refresh & Renew team and other women at Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown on April 8, 2017. The morning will be a short one, just five hours—since its hard to get away for a full day—and will include FREE childcare! A $10 donation is also asked to attend the event.
If you are a woman, needing to get away and be refreshed this event is for you! For a $10 donation, this event includes a lot:

- hands-on activities including floral arrangement!
Our goal for the Refresh and Renew Conference is that women will leave refreshed with a renewed sense of worth, and joy for their daily walk. It will be a safe and comfortable place for women of all ages to find hope, identify their source of worth, and renew their joy; all from a Biblical perspective.
Is this the same Refresh & Renew Conference on March 17 in Ephrata?
This is NOT the same Refresh & Renew Conference that will be meeting in Ephrata on March 17, 2017. It is a separate event hosted by Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown.
This Morgantown Refresh & Renew Conference will feature all three speakers from Refresh & Renew—Bonni Greiner, Denise Groves and Sylvia Gerhart—who will share resources, motivational tips and encouragement. There will be a time of worship, two break-out sessions to choose from, lunch and hands-on activities including floral arrangements, a perfect activity to get ready for spring!
What are the Presentations?
Release Control Before You Lose Control—Marriage, children, finances, relationships….we all want to be in complete control but instead often we find ourselves spiraling out of our control. We don’t determine our circumstances but we do determine how we will respond. Learn how to be content in all circumstances as you let go of your will, release control, and ask God to let His will be done in your life!
Eating to Thrive—Our bodies are the temple of the Living God! Are we feeding it physical food worthy of nourishing our temple? How is the food we feed our temples working for us? This presentation will look at the changes our food has and is making over the years and how these changes may affect our health.
Seasons of A Woman’s Life—Each season of our life has been ordained by God. We’ll discuss 5 practical and inspirational ways that we can fulfill our destinies in Christ in each season.
What are the Breakout Sessions?
You will choose ONE to attend from each session.
Session 1
Toddler Talk: Learn 10 ways to build a foundation to help give toddlers the tools they need to fulfill their destinies in Jesus!
OR
Bread Baking 101: Both the physical and spiritual meaning of bread baking will be presented and discussed. Recipes for yeast products will be shared with the group.
Session 2
Sex in Marriage: God created sex. HE did a fabulous job in His creation of sex. The world’s understanding of sex is so different to God’s intentions of sex in marriage. Are there some aspects of sex that the church has missed teaching about?

No Fail Flower arranging: Learn how to make a fresh flower centerpiece for a table of 8-10 people in 4 easy steps, and for under $10!
