Some people love FREE stuff. In fact, if you read this blog, you may be one of those people—or you may know someone who loves FREE stuff. So what do you gift those friends and family who wouldn’t necessarily want you spending tons of money on them?
We have a few frugal enthusiasts in our life and this year we brainstormed some Lancaster County gift ideas for frugal enthusiasts! (So they can enjoy getting FREE or cheap stuff all year long.) Here’s what we came up with.
1. The Chick-fil-A Calendar
Did you know about this?! I learned about it for the first time this year!!! The Chick-fil-A Calendar is a calendar that comes with a promo card on the back. You can use that card once a month to get a FREE item. Sometimes you’ll know what it is, and other times its a FREE mystery item. The calendar costs at $8 if you ask for it in store, although you will also find some local organizations selling them as fundraisers for $10. You can link the card to your Chik-fil-A app so you don’t need to carry around another card.
2. Wendy’s FREE Frosty’s for a Year
Wendy’s is offering a new promotion this year where you can buy a $2 key tag that will let you get one FREE frosty a day for the entire 2018 year. This makes a great gift to include for your neighbors or even in Christmas cards you mail! You might just want to get one for everyone in your family. Its perfect for cheap one-on-one dates with your kiddos or if you’re traveling and need a quick and cheap stop for a break.
3. Entertainment Book
Entertainment Books offer hundreds of coupons to local restaurants and entertainment for just $19. Check out some of these coupons I found last year for local ice cream shops that you’ll love by the time the summer comes around—and they’ll save you the price of the book alone!

4. Local Flavor Deals

5. Groupon Gift Certificates
Groupon has been offering some unique local deals recently. Many are local experiences to save on, and others allow you to save on excursions. My favorite is the Great Wolf Lodge (Poconos) Deal that includes water park admission! Here are some Lancaster County favorites:
