5 Best Idea’s to do AT HOME for New Year’s Eve

There are many great opportunities to ring in the New Year with your family at some really awesome local events in Lancaster County, but sometimes it’s just easier to stay home. The challenge can be to make the day /evening fun for both you and the kids. Here are five fun ideas to do at home this New Year’s Eve with your kiddos, that everyone in your family will enjoy!

1. Create a Family Time Capsule

It’s amazing how things change from year to year.  This New Year’s Eve, take some time with your family to “capture” any events or memories from 2018 and make a Family Time Capsule that you can open New Year’s Eve, 2019!  Consider filling out and including a year in review questionnaire, or adding favorite vacation pictures or movie/show ticket stubs.  Here’s a great article to get you started on how to create your own family time capsule!

2. Plan a Family New Year’s Craft

Making crafts together can be a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate!  There are so many great craft ideas, here are a few we liked: New Years Eve Slime Recipe,  Countdown Clocks, Fireworks in a Jar,  New Year’s Eve Wishing Tree, New Year’s Eve Photo Props
