Ephrata Library – Be An Artist for Homeschooler
WHAT: Join us for discussions about art history and visual culture and explore painting, drawing,
and mixed media applications in the visual arts. Ages 8-13.

Art of Recycle Homeschool Program Discussion
WHAT: Art of Recycle is hosting a homeschool program discussion on January 7, 2019 in our new STEAM Center. Interested homeschool parents are invited to attend. Our staff at Art of Recycle is putting together our programming for the year and we will be offering free and low cost creativity workshops for children of all ages during daytime hours throughout the year.
Our center has grown larger, with an additional 2000 sf that will be dedicated solely towards workshops and other programming, and we would like to make our new center available to homeschool parents and homeschool co-ops.
This would also include the use of AoR materials and AoR equipment during workshops for homeschool parents while they are utilizing our facility. Our meeting will begin at 2pm. Parents interested in teaching creativity workshops in 2019 are encouraged to attend. Children are welcome, and will be able to craft in our Craft Castle while the discussion is ongoing.

WHAT: Create a masterpiece getting inspiration from the works of a famous artist! Registration required.

Art Matters: Homeschool Classes “Meet the Artists” Impressionism, Cubism & Pop Art
WHAT: Afternoon Art introduces students to the elements of art, art history, and art techniques through weekly projects that explore a mix of media from drawing and painting, collage and more. Projects are easily adapted to different age levels. Perfect for Homeschooled students. Recommended for ages ages 6-10. Our most affordable 1 hour class.Our 6 week Winter Session will focus on “Meet the Artists”. Learn about artists and art movements including Impressionism, Cubism and Pop Art.

Pennsylvania College of Art and Design: Homeschool Art Studio Classes
WHAT: Let your child explore their inner artist, practice creative problem solving and have fun!
Through this 8-week class, students will explore a variety of art making practices and techniques. By learning about the history behind various artists and their work, students will not only learn artistic techniques, but develop a deeper knowledge for art and its place in history. Because class size is limited, each child will be met at their skill level with lessons flexible to their abilities. All materials and supplies are provided for this class. Open to ages 6-13.
