Lancaster YWCA presents: Celebrate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

WHAT: Kids of all ages will be able to make crafts relating to peace, diversity and the life of Dr. King. We will playing excerpts from his most famous speeches. Light refreshments will be served. Registration required here.

WHAT: This FREE 21st annual Martin Luther King Jr. play is a collaboration between Penn State Harrisburg and PenOwl Productions to celebrate the King holiday.
It’s 1990 and the city has taken over ownership of the Ellis house, a historic, abandoned home. The Mayor is asking: Who was Mr. Ellis? Why does the local construction company want to remodel the house or perhaps tear it down? Why does the preservation society want to leave it untouched? The real question is what mystery does the old house hold and, when it is revealed, will the answer provide the key to saving Ellis house?
Messiah College Marching in the Footsteps: Reflections on the Civil Rights Bus Tour

- Panel Discussion // The Civil Rights Bus Tour provides participants with numerous opportunities to learn about the movement, hear first-person accounts, and stand in key locations from the era. - Civil Right Bus Tour Immersion Spaces: As the tour is full of impactful moments. Come more fully experience a few of the moving words, songs, and locations.
