Did you know that many restaurants and businesses will send you freebies or coupons on your birthday?
Some of these birthday offers are completely FREE and others are FREE with a purchase. Some are only valid on your actual birthday, just show your ID. Check my links at the very bottom of the post for my top 10 annual favorites! Throughout this extensive list, I have also highlighted my favorites.

TIP >> Consider signing up for these birthday clubs at least 1-2 months before or after your birthday. Many of them will also email you special coupons on the anniversary of your account. You might find it more fun to get those anniversary coupons at different times of the year than your birthday, rather than all at once!
Applebee’s – FREE dessert and song on your birthday—a coupon will be emailed to you around your birthday.
Arby’s – FREE small shake with any purchase, excluding snack items. Coupon will be emailed to you.
Auntie Anne’s Pretzels – Sign up for their Pretzel Perks program and download their app. You’ll need the app to show the coupon for your FREE pretzel. Good for even the specialty pretzels!!
Baskin Robbins – UPDATE 2020: This was just a coupon for $3 off a cake! Baskin Robbins will send you a coupon for a FREE 2.5 oz scoop of ice cream or 3oz soft serve swirl on your birthday plus other special promotions when you join the Baskin Robbins Birthday Club. Coupon will be emailed to you.
Beiler’s Donuts — Enjoy a doughnut from Beiler’s on them! Oh my!!! Yum. You’ll receive this email the day before your birthday!
Ben & Jerry’s – Get a FREE ice cream treat on your birthday when you become a ChunkSpelunker with Ben & Jerry’s.
Bob Evans – Sign up your child for their birthday club and they’ll get a FREE kids’ meal on their birthday at Bob Evans.
Boston Market – Kids 12 and under will receive a birthday coupon good for a FREE kid’s meal, drink, and dessert at Boston Market.
Buffalo Wild Wings – Get a coupon for a FREE snack size wings. Coupon will be emailed to you.
Burger King – Sign up your child to be a member of Club BK so they can get a FREE kid’s meal on their birthday.
Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse (Philadelphia area) – Get a FREE gift on your birthday as a member of the Charlie Brown’s Handshake Club as well as gift vouchers and special members-only events.
Chinet – A coupon for $1 off any Chinet product will be emailed to you!
Cold Stone Creamery (Reading and Harrisburg) – Cold Stone Creamery will send you an email with a coupon for a FREE ice cream creation to enjoy on your birthday. All ages are welcome!
Cracker Barrel – You can come into Cracker Barrel on your birthday and you will get a FREE dessert and song.
CVS Beauty Club – Get a FREE $3 ECB on your birthday. Plus, you’ll get $5 ECBs for every $50 in qualifying beauty purchases. You can use the ECB on any purchase in the store!!
Dairy Queen – Get emailed a coupon for $3 off a 8-10 inch birthday cake, plus a buy one medium blizzard treat get one free coupon.
Dave & Buster’s – Get a FREE $5 game card credit on your birthday.
Denny’s – Come in and get a FREE Grand Slam on your birthday.
Disney Store – Receive a coupon for 20% off. Located at Rockvale Outlets.
Esbenshades – FREE plant. I usually get a FREE primrose in February (or it can be redeemed for $2.99 off another plant purchase).
Flower & Home Marketplace – Receive a coupon for 30% off any item! Woohoo. This is a fantastic store with thousands of options whether you want home decor, crafts, books, candles, flowers, baskets, or art supplies. I personally love their farmhouse style items!
Friendly’s – Sign up for Friendly’s E-News and get FREE ice cream for your birthday. This is now for kids and adults!
Fuddruckers – Join the Fudds Club and get a FREE burger on your birthday.
Golden Corral — Receive a coupon for one FREE adult buffet. Coupon will be emailed to you and will expire one week after your birthday. (Grab a $15/30 coupon before you go to save even more!)
Go ‘N Bananas — Receive a coupon for a FREE $10 game card! Expires at the end of your birthday month.
Good N Plenty — FREE Birthday Meal. Sign up for their birthday club and it will be emailed to you. You also receive other coupons for their gift shop.
Hard Rock Cafe – Come in and get a FREE dessert on your birthday.
Helzberg Diamonds – Sign up for FREE email updates at Helzberg Diamonds and receive a coupon for free pearl earrings for your birthday. (I have never done this one personally. If you know if its valid anymore, please let me know!)
Honey Baked Ham – FREE classic ham sandwich. Coupon will be emailed to you—or will show up in their new App. One of my top 10 favorites featured at the bottom of this page!
IHOP – A FREE full stack of Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity pancakes! Coupon will be emailed to you.
Isaac’s Restaurant and Deli – FREE dessert. Yum! This is one of my top 10 favorites every year! Find out my favorite Isaac’s dessert and why I love it so much.
Kellogg’s Rewards Club – In 2018, I received an email with a coupon code for $20 off a Shutterfly purchase (and it doesn’t expire for a whole year)!!
Kmart – Sign up your child for the KMart Birthday Club and they’ll get a FREE birthday pack on their birthday. According to their site you’ll get a FREE $5 KMart gift card in the bag!
Lands End – They do not have a Lancaster store, but if you sign up for their emails, they will email you a coupon on your birthday. Mine in 2017 was $50 off a $100 purchase!!! I have heard of people getting $20 off $20 deals though!
Laserdome (Manheim) – Get a FREE $5 game card on your birthday!
La Borimex (Ephrata) – They will give you a FREE fried ice cream on your birthday. Be sure to bring your ID!
LocalFlavor Deals – In 2017 I was emailed a special 25% off code to use on any purchase the week of your birthday. Not sure if they are still doing this.
Longhorn Steakhouse – FREE dessert with purchase of one adult entree. Coupon emailed to you.
Macaroni Grill – Come on into Macaroni Grill on your birthday and get a FREE dessert plus a song. (There is no longer a Macaroni Grill in Lancaster that I know of—it was at Park City until 2015.)
Maggiano’s (King of Prussia) – Join the Maggiano’s Birthday Club and get a coupon for $10 off your meal purchase.
The Melting Pot (Harrisburg) – FREE chocolate covered strawberries.
Moe’s Southwest Grill – Get a coupon for a FREE Moe’s entree (excludes fajitas) on your birthday when you choose to “stay in the moe.” **This is now on their smartphone app, no need to print anything!
Noodles & Company – I was a little disappointed in 2016. This used to be a coupon for a free bowl of noodles, but they changed it to a FREE rice krispy treat.
Old Country Buffet – Join the eClub and get a FREE birthday coupon in the mail.
Olive Garden – FREE dessert up to $10 maximum value. Coupon is emailed to you. I got mine already for 2019!
On the Border – Get a FREE appetizer on your birthday when you join On the Border’s Club Cantina. When you initially join you will get an instant coupon for a free bowl of queso or empanadas.
Orange Julius – Get a FREE smoothie or other special drink.
Outback – Get a FREE dessert and a song when you go to Outback on your birthday.
Panera Bread – Get a FREE pastry or sweet good for 60 days, loaded on your Panera Rewards card.
PF Changs – Sign up for their email list and receive a FREE dessert on your birthday month!
Red Lobster – Join the Overboard Club and they will email you a surprise coupon for your birthday.
Rita’s – FREE water ice (winter birthdays will receive a coupon on their half-birthday during the summer)
Ruby Tuesday (Rockvale Outlets and Fruitville Pike) – Join their birthday club and you’ll get an email for a FREE burger on your birthday. Up to $11 value!!!!
Sephora (Park City) – Sign up as a Beauty Insider and get a FREE gift from Sephora on your birthday.
Shady Maple Smorgasboard – Get a FREE buffet if you visit with a paying adult. No coupon needed, just show your ID.
Sheetz – Sign up for their MySheetz card and download their app. In 2017, they sent me a choice of one of three things. You can read about it here.
Swagbucks – Get a 55 SB credit when you redeem your next gift card (must redeem within a month after your birthday).
Texas Roadhouse – Become a Texas Roadie and you’ll get a coupon for a FREE dessert or appetizer on your birthday.
TGI Friday’s – Receive a coupon for a FREE appetizer to use on your birthday when you sign up for Friday’s E-Club. You also get a coupon for a free appetizer just for signing up! You must be over 21 to get this birthday freebie.
Yoder’s Family Restaurant – Get a FREE buffet meal on your birthday. Must show drivers license.
