Go ‘N Bananas Family Fun Center — FREE $10 Game Card on your birthday

Did you know that Go ‘N Bananas will email you a FREE $10 Game Card on your birthday if you sign up for their VIP Email Club? Go ‘N Bananas is an indoor adventure center in Lancaster that offers an arcade, Ballocity, laser mazes, ropes course, mini bowling, spin zone, laser tag, XD rides, and more. It’s also an incredibly popular place for an indoor children’s birthday party!

Adults and children can sign up to be part of their VIP Club and receive this $10 game card. When I received mine this year, I was determined to go enjoy some fun!

Go ‘N Bananas was gracious enough to offer my entire family Nano Deluxe passes for us to enjoy during our visit, so we could show you everything you’ll get to experience in your five hours of fun, when you visit too!

Things To Do at Go ‘N Bananas

Game Zone

Go ‘N Bananas arcade is certainly among the best in central Pennsylvania. I thought it was very comparable to the Works in Wyomissing. You’ll find skee-ball, Monster Drop, basketball, fishing games, video games, vintage games like Pac Man, games of risk, driving games, guitar games, jump rope games and more.

All prize points you earn are automatically added to your card, so you don’t need to stuff any tickets in your pocket. 🙂 Then when you are finished, you can redeem your points for a fabulous selection of prizes.

Laser Maze

Our family loved this laser maze. You could use your game card for it, or unlimited tries were included with the Nano Deluxe package. This maze used lasers, mirrors and haze to challenge your to navigate strategically as if you were 007 himself. We liked keeping track of our scores and competing against each other! You could also choose to complete a mission individually or with another person.

Ropes Course

I’m pretty sure the ropes course was our highlight and favorite event of the day! Its a really unique ropes course because you are suspended over the crowd (the Game Zone is below you!) as you try to weave your way through the obstacles. At first I found this rather intimidating to have people walking beneath me, but you got used to it after awhile. 🙂

If you plan to do the ropes course, I recommend planning ahead and remembering to wear sneakers or shoes that make walking on high ropes easy and less intimidating.

Spin Zone

The spin zone was my favorite! I’m not one for super dizzy rides but for some reason I just loved these things and couldn’t stop laughing. It was bumper cars on a circle, and every so often they would just randomly spin you crazy. Thrilling! I’m certain your entire family will enjoy this ride.

Laser Tag

Our family has grown to love laser tag and this arena did not disappoint. We loved the competition aspect of the game, where you had to try to sneak to the other teams base and shoot their flashing light. It helped us to have a strategy—my daughter insisted I stay and protect the base, while she tried to capture theirs. 🙂

The arena is very family-friendly. No running is allowed. There is a top area up a ramp where you can look down on the people below for another strategy. Lots of places to hide and surprise the other team.

XD Dark Ride

If you’ve never done one of these rides, you will probably be shocked at how exhilarating it is! We were all surprised how real everything felt in this XD experience. You are given 3D glasses to wear before they start you off with the heart pounding fun as you enter in a laser blaster battle.

The man in charge said we would most enjoy the Gigamon show and I think he was right. I am not one to like fighting, or monsters, or anything of the sort so I was a little leary, but it turned out ok. It wasn’t too graphic or scary looking. I probably wouldn’t take a kid less than 6 years old though.

Ballocity

We let our kids enjoy the indoor playground with Ballocity, while we enjoyed the cafe. I was surprised how much a 6, 8 and 10 year old could love this. I watched them work together to create a strategy and system for bringing the balls back up to the top where they could launch them and catapult them around the course.

They experiences thrill of blasters, vacuums, fountains, and cannons that duped thousands of foam balls, as they escaped via tube slides!

Toddler Zone

Our kids were too old to enjoy this, but I will say that it was a neat play area, appropriately situated so parents with kids of different ages could still feel like they were participating in watching all the fun. Its a fun and safe environment!

Planing a Birthday Party at Go ‘N Bananas

Go ‘N Bananas has a variety of birthday packages available ranging from including just a few attractions (3-4) to all attractions except for the XD Ride. Each package includes access to a party room for 3 hours and 2 hours of play. Packages start at $199.99. Learn more about booking your birthday party package here.

How to Sign up for the VIP Club

I highly recommend signing up for their VIP Email Club. Even if you don’t use it, its just so much fun to receive an email on your birthday worth $10! And you don’t have to buy anything to use it. You could just go to the check-in desk, show them your coupon, and they’ll give you the $10 game card. You’ll be able to enjoy at least 20-30 minutes of game time with $10! (Skee ball is 50 cents a game, to give you an idea. Many games were $1-2.)

To sign up for the club, visit their VIP Page. It will take you about 5 minutes to give them your information, including address, phone number and birthdate.

You’ll get the birthday email at the end of the month preceding your birthday, and your coupon will be valid until the end of your birthday month (give or take a little). At least this is how mine was. 🙂

Kids and adults can sign up for the birthday club—so sign up each member in your household and enjoy something to look forward to!

Coupons & Discounts
