Indoor Toddler Gyms in Lancaster

Several of you moms with young kids have asked me for a listing of indoor toddler gyms in Lancaster County. I was surprised to find a lot more than I thought I would, which makes this list an excellent resource for winter outings and fun to tire out your toddler before naptime!

Here’s a list of indoor toddler gyms—many of them are FREE!

Toddler Gym at Manor Church (530 Central Manor Road, Lancaster)

Toddler gym is every Wednesday morning from 9am to 10:05am. There is a time of free play followed by songs and a snack. Runs until March 25. This is FREE. No registration is needed. Check their Facebook page for more info.

Toddler Gym at Church of God Landisville (Landisville)

Held on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:30am. Begins in November and runs through the first week in March. For children birth to age 5.

Each week children play from 10:15-10:30am. An art project is started at 10:30am for children who are interested. We clean up at 11:10am for circle time. Circle Time has repetitious songs and finger plays and a visit from Myrtle the Turtle with monthly thematic activities mixed in. We always end by marching with instruments.

Everyone is welcome. Please fill out a registration form when you arrive. This is FREE. Check their website for more info including parachute play time on Fridays.

Toddler Gym at Lititz Church of the Brethren (Lititz)

Thursdays 9:30–10:45 and Fridays from 9:15-10:30 & 10:45-noon. You can pick the day that works best for you to attend regularly. Runs from October to early April.

A safe, welcoming indoor play experience for the whole community. Each session features an hour of free play, circle time with songs and presentations from special guests, and a story to close our visit together.

Toddler Gym is for children from infant to PreK, along with a parent or adult guardian. This is FREE. Check their Facebook page for more information.

Toddler Gym at Pequea Church (Church Road, Lancaster)

Our weekly Toddler Gym Fall sessions run on Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. It’s FREE for parents/caregivers and their toddlers (walkers-age 3 and their siblings). We offer a great opportunity to explore age-appropriate activities in a safe, fun, kid-oriented environment. No sign-up required for this free experience, just show up; and we will let you in on a secret…it’s fun for the adults too! Visit their website for more info.

Toddler Gym at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg (Decatur St., Strasburg)

This is a FREE weekly playtime for ages 1-3 with their caregivers. It takes places every Friday morning from 9-10am beginning August 23 and also includes an allergy friendly snack! There will be scooters and tricycles, blocks, push toys, slides tunnels and balls! Visit their Facebook page for more info.

Toddler Gym at Branch & Vine (North Street, Lancaster)

Held on Mondays from 10-11:30am. We are opening the gym for caregivers and kids (pre-K and under) to enjoy getting their wiggles out this winter! This is FREE, and a time for caregivers and kids to interact together through play, circle time (songs like: If You’re Happy & You Know It), and a snack we provide. Toddler Gym at Community Bible Church (Anderson Ferry Road, Marietta)

This toddler gym is held on Wednesdays from 9:30am to 11am between September and April. Visit their Facebook page for more info.

Toddler Gym at Cocalico Community Church (Swartzville Road, Reinholds)

Join other moms and caregivers for fellowship in the gym while your kids play! You are welcome to bring bikes, scooters, and toys. Meeting on 2nd and 4th Thursdays, from 9-11am. Please contact Ashley Wolfgang with questions! Visit their Facebook page for more info.

Toddler Gym at Grace United Methodist Church (163 West Fredrick Street, Millersville)

This is a FREE toddler gym held on Wednesdays from 9:15am to 10:15am. Its held in the Family Life Center on the upper level of the Grace Campus. Wheel chair access is available via a ramp outside and then an inside elevator. Check the church calendar for more details.

Gym Jam at Highland Presbyterian Church Gym (Roseville Road, Lancaster)

The Gym Jam at Highland Presbyterian Church is open to children from birth to school age and includes a bounce house, tricycles, and slides. It’s held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30 am, followed by a 15 minute story time with a provided snack. Free will offering is accepted. Learn more here.

Tot Spot at James Street Mennonite Church ( Lancaster City)

Lancaster Tot Spot is a co-operatively run indoor playground, open from October-April. Tot Spot provides an innovative, fun, warm and spacious play space for kids 0-6 years old. Tot Spot also offers parents a place to relax and meet while their children play, providing a much-needed social outlet for the cold winter months! All are welcome to join. Held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 10am til 12noon. There is a cost. Learn more about their membership levels here.


More Indoor Play Areas for Toddlers in the Lancaster County Area

Universal Kidmazium (Oregon Pike, Lancaster)

Universal Kidmazium, 2323 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601. There’s nothing like this in Lancaster! Our newly expanded, 3-level Kidmazium is a 8000 sq. ft. play area with a 12-foot “zip line”, slides, obstacle courses, ball pits, monkey bars, basketball hoops, an air bouncer, tunnels, and cargo nets. The top level includes a Sports Court.

Tumbletown (York)

Tumbletown is a safe and secure venue for your children to run, jump, swing, climb, roll, flip, skip, bend, explore, interact and be creative. They offer weekly specials and are currently offering a discounted pass for 2 children at half price through Local Flavor deals.

The Curious Little Playhouse (York)

The Curious Little Playhouse, York. This is downtown York’s favorite indoor play place for kiddos, combined with a Melissa & Doug store! They offer a LocalFlavor deal in the form of a 5 visit punch card.

Go N Bananas (Garfield Ave, Lancaster)

Go N Bananas, 1170 Garfield Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601. (Find 50% off deals on LocalFlavor, but be quick because they sell out quickly when they are offered!)

The Works in Wyomissing (Wyomissing)

The Works in Wyomissing (although this is not in Lancaster, it is not a far drive from eastern Lancaster County) Includes an indoor arcade, play area, Ballocity and more! The Ballocity portion is great for younger kids. (They frequently offer 50% off deals on LocalFlavor and Avid Deals) Read about the date I had with my 4-year-old son at the Works—it gives a good overview of what a a child that age will enjoy the most, besides Ballocity.

Tiny Town (Janet Ave, Lancaster)

Hands On House (Landis Valley Road, Lancaster)

Hands On House, 721 Landis Valley Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601 is designed for children ages 2-10. At Hands-on House, adults and children learn and play together. Our philosophy of childhood learning is simple: it lasts longer if it’s more fun, and it’s more fun if it includes doing. They have been offering Groupons and Local Flavor deals.

Sky Zone (Hempstead Road, Lancaster)

Toddler Time is a great shared experience for child and parent. A time for your little ones to discover the joy of being active, bouncing under the supervision of their parents, and without interference from the big kids. CHILDREN AGE 5 AND UNDER. PLEASE VISIT HOURS AND CALENDAR FOR DETAILS. SOCKS NOT INCLUDED! Held at 9am Tues-Fri and 8:30am on Saturdays. Find more info on their website. (Watch for deals on LocalFlavor and Groupon)

Bounce Kraze (Granite Run Dr, Lancaster)

Bounce Kraze, 407 Granite Run Dr, Lancaster, PA 17601. Indoor inflatables and many other options, especially great for younger children (early elementary age and younger).

Chuck E. Cheese’s (Fruitville Pike, Lancaster)

Chuck E. Cheese’s, 2020 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601. (Check their website before you go to print money saving coupons.)

Fusion Gymnastics (Citation Lane, Lititz)

Fusion Gymnastics, 10 Citation Lane, Lititz, PA 17543. Friday Preschool Open Gym for $5/child (18mo-5 years old). From 9:30am-10:30am, or 10:30am-11:00am. You can check their website for discounts (they also often offer discounts if items are donated to a specific cause), Avid Deals offers special birthday packages or Local Flavor frequently offers special packages and coupons as well.
