Mother’s Day Meals To-Go in Lancaster County

Looking for a special way to show your appreciation for the mom’s in your life while still respecting the social distancing recommendation? I found 14 restaurants and businesses in Lancaster County offering unique Mother’s Day Meal Packs and shared them here in alphabetical order. There is an option for everyone—whether you’re from the northern, southern, eastern or western part of the county too!!

FYI: Many of these you must pre-order by Wednesday or Thursday. Also, if you know of any offerings not on this list, please email me or message me on social media and I’ll include it as soon as I can!

Acorn Farms (Mount Joy) – Mother’s Day Meal Pack feeds 4-6 people and includes stuffed pork chops, chicken rossini, scalloped potatoes, wild rice pilaf, grilled veggies, green beans, choice of soup and salad and dinner rolls, not to mention pecan pie and chocolate mousse! Cost is $89 for 4-6 people, pick up on Friday from 11:30am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 12noon. Delivery is also available for $7.

Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant (Bird-in-Hand) – Offering curbside pickup on May 8 and 9 from 11:30am to 6pm. They have several meal options including Lancaster County favorites of ham balls, roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, as well as soups, chicken pot pie or off the grill items. Whole pies and pie slices are available for dessert, and you can also add on a hanging basket to your order. Cost is $39-$56 for 4-6 people.

Black Rock Retreat (Quarryville) – Selling brunch and dinner options for Mother’s Day. Brunch includes waffles, fruit, quiche, bacon and sticky buns for $14.95/person. Dinner is a full course meal for $19.95/person. Pickup Saturday May 9 from 12-5pm or Sunday, May 10 from 9am-2pm.

Commonwealth on Queen (Lancaster) – At the time of this post release, they had not made their Mother’s Day catering menu available, but here is their full menu to give you an idea of their unique selections!

Conestoga Restaurant (Lancaster) – Grab & Go Mother’s Day Chicken BBQ. Grab a 1/2 chicken, pasta salad, smoked sweet corn and a roll, or 2 1/2 pounds steamed garlic herb mussels for $13-$14. Call ahead to pre-order, meals are available for pickup on Sunday, May 10 from 10am-4pm.

Gibraltar (Lancaster) – Chef’s specials include jumbo lump crab tortelloni, almond crusted wild halibut, prime rib, pistachio crusted rack of lamb and a fresh fruit tart. Prices range from $8-$38. Must order by Thursday, May 7. Pickup will be from 1-6pm on Sunday, May 10th.

The Greenfield (Lancaster) – Entrees include New York Strip Steak with Red Wine Demi Glaze, Roasted Lamb, Herb Crusted Chicken, Scottish Salmon and Crab Cakes. All entrees are served with house salad, fresh seasonal vegetables, au gratin potatoes and a dinner roll. Prices average $20-30. Starters and desserts are also available. Orders must be placed by Thursday, May 7.

The Heritage Restaurant (Morgantown) – Mother’s Day Weekend special includes roasted turkey, ham, or crab cakes. Sides include glazed carrots, green beans, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and stuffing. Entrees are $25-$45. Order online for curbside pick up on Saturday from 2-4pm.

The Hotel Hershey (Hershey) – Brunch serves a family of 4 and features your selection of brunch appetizers, entrees and sides. All orders include warm cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing. Dessert may be added for an additional fee. Mother’s Day baskets are available for purchase as well. Cost is $110 for a family of 4. Curbside pick up times are from 10am-2pm on Sunday, May 10. Hershey Lodge and Houlihan’s Restaurant also have dinner options available.

Iron Hill Brewery (Lancaster) – Brunch options include quiche with fresh fruit, or cinnamon rolls. Dinners include ham, salmon, or steak, with lobster tails and shrimp skewers as add-ons. Prices range from $26-$40 for dinner and $10-16 for brunch. Orders must be placed by Thursday, May 7 for pick up on Saturday, May 9.

John Wright Restaurant (Wrightsville) – Several options for dinner for 4 including short ribs, lobster lasagna, braised lamb, salmon etc. Extras like crab pretzels, crab soup, meatballs, salad, and shepard’s pie can also be ordered. Dinner prices range from $35-$65 for a family of 4. Pickup Saturday May 9 from 1-4pm or Sunday May 10 from 11-3pm. Orders must be placed and paid in full by Wednesday, May 6th.

Lampeter Cafe (Strasburg) – Mother’s Day specials include quiche brunch with two sides, stuffed french toast with fresh fruit, maple syrup and whipped cream, sandwich platter of 12 sandwich halves, chips, and choice of soup or salad, or a lasagna dinner with garlic bread and caesar salad. Meals serve 4-8, depending on your choice, and cost about $27-$65. Assorted pastries and fresh flowers are also available for pre order by Thursday, May 7.

The Shack Restaurant (Manheim) – Meal includes choice of pot roast or chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli with cheese sauce and a roll, and a scoop of ice cream for dessert (vanilla, chocolate or strawberry). Cost is $10.95/person. Call to pre-order and schedule a curbside pick up time.

Simply From Scratch (Lancaster) – Your choice of seared steak medallion with herb butter or salmon filet with dill butter. Also includes scalloped potatoes, glazed carrots with tops, seasonal salad (with sliced strawberries, candied pecans, feta cheese with poppyseed dressing), berry topped cheesecake and dinner rolls. Cost is $25/person and $5 delivery per order. Fresh homegrown bouquet can be included for an extra $25. Call 717-299-1202 or email simplyfromscratch@comcast.net.

The Village Haus at Stoudtburg Village (Reinholds) – Offering a special Mother’s Day menu including french onion soup, bacon wrapped scallops, filet mignon, veal marsala, baby back ribs, surf & turf and more. Bavarian apple strudel and New York style cheesecake are available for dessert. Entree prices range from $14-$34. For curbside pick up from 11:30am-5pm on Sunday, May 10. Order by Thursday, May 7.
