5 Ways to Save on Refreshing Mountain Zipline & Obstacle Course

This summer my husband’s family chose to do some fun staycation activities, including the Refreshing Mountain Zipline and Obstacle Course!

Grandma, Grandpa, Uncles, Aunts and cousins—everyone together—I think one of the best parts was watching all the grandkids cheer for Grandpa as he did the zip line! Making memories that will last forever!

The youngest that did this course with us, was 5 years old, but I want to talk to you briefly about this 8 year old girl (in the video above). You see, she struggles with fear, and this was a HUGE accomplishment for her, just like the zip line was a few years ago when she tackled it for her first time.

But she overcame her fears, pressed on, persevered and we’re so proud of her! She’ll always have this opportunity to look back on and see that on her own she couldn’t do it, but with God nothing is impossible. He gave her courage to tackle this and He’ll be faithful to give her courage in the future too!

I highly recommend considering this as a family activity!

Now the cost of this activity does add up. Its usually $392 for a group of 8—however, there are several ways to save on your visit, that make it very family friendly and affordable.

3. Groupon Deals

They are not always offered, but its worth checking just to be sure, because I have seen several deals offered on Groupon, usually similar to deals offered on other deal sites.

4. Military Discounts

Refreshing Mountain offers an ongoing discount for active military or veterans, and their families (up to 8 people). The 10% military discount applies to two of their zipline tours. Just enter the code military10 at checkout on their website, and bring your military ID at checkin.

Military families also receive 15% lodging discounts, but the offer cannot be applied to any packages.
