Weiser’s Market is a smaller grocery store that has locations in Lititz and Akron. They are not a discount grocery store or bulk food speciality store like many smaller stores in Lancaster are, which makes them unique.
They have an excellent meat department with tremendous meat sales, a salad bar for quick lunches, a produce section, a deli meat and cheese counter, a thorough freezer section, snacks and all the normal canned goods, household supplies, cereal etc.
The other thing they are known for is their donuts. I know several people who visit Weiser’s Market just to buy their donuts! And if you’re kids are in the summer library reading program they get a coupon for a FREE donut as one of their prizes every summer!

I know I tend to be a pretty positive person, but I honestly think you will love this store, unless maybe you need specialty items that only larger grocery stores would have. For your normal everyday shopping trips, Weiser’s Market will definitely have what you need.
If you shop with kids, I think you will like the smaller store that you can be in and out of quicker. The carts are a little smaller, at the Akron store at least, so plan to use the time to train your kids to walk beside you. It’s a great learning opportunity, and much more effective than in a larger grocery store.
Watch their Facebook and website for updates on their meat sales. You will definitely want to make a trip and take advantage of filling your freezer with some savings on beef, pork and chicken!
